WOMADelaide

Over the March long weekend Australian Landscape Jewellery was part of one of the most spectacular music festivals in Australia.  WOMADelaide is a four day festival of music, art and dance from all over the world.  Although Suzete has been to every WOMADelaide from the beginning, this was our first year as traders at WOMADelaide and we hope we will be there for many more.

We set up over two days and it was wonderful to be able to go home and pick up odd items we had forgotten, or not realised we needed.  Working in your home city has untold benefits – including being able to sleep in your own bed!  Good coffee in the morning and a decent breakfast always make the day go better.

We worked each day from 11 am to around 11 pm, except for the Friday when we started at 4pm when the gates opened.  The music was all around us and the ambience was fantastic.  Some help in the ‘shop’ allowed us both to get to see some of the artists. Thanks to Ellen and Sheryl for the hours spent.
