Sizing and other FAQ
I need it a little smaller (or larger). Can I have customised fitting?
We want our jewellery to look good on you. If when you get it, or give it to someone as a gift, it doesn't sit just right, please contact us to discuss. We can usually make minor adjustments to shorten or lengthen pieces without charge to ensure they fit properly.
Sizing Guide
A 45 cm necklace will sit on the collarbone of most women up to a dress size of about 18 (Australian sizing). 60 to 65 cm will hang to the top of the cleavage. At 75 to 80 cm it will come to below the bust line. The one at 105 cm can be wound around the neck twice. The size cartoons on each piece show approximate length.
Alternate soft (snake) chain lengths
The 18" chain (approx 42 cm) will probably suit petite women, or someone who wants the pendant to sit inside the neckline of a dress or top. The 20" chain will have the pendant more or less at cleavage line. A 24" chain will come just below the bust line on the 'average' woman, while the 30" chain will be below the bust line.
Do the pendants come with or without the chain?
All pendants come with either a sterling silver chain or a black rubber cord, as shown in the photos.

Commissions
Suzette has made bespoke jewellery for clients all over the world.
When designing commissioned pieces, we usually begin by asking new clients to tell us which pieces of our current work most appeal to them.
You may also send us a photo of a specific place which you would like us to capture as a unique piece of jewellery. We will also discuss your budgetary range, preferences for stones and metals, and other requirements you may have.
At this stage, Suzette will sketch some preliminary designs with basic notes of finish and embellishments. When you are pleased with the design sketch, we can quote a firm price and begin to craft the piece.
If you live in or near Adelaide, you may also request an appointment from our contact page to visit our studio and discuss your commissioned work in person.
Commissioned pieces typically take between 1 to 3 months to complete, depending on the complexity of the piece and other commitments at time of ordering.
Repairs
If there has been a fault in manufacture, we will re-string at no charge. If a piece has been worn often and the string has broken (which can happen from time to time) we will have to charge a fee for re-stringing. Please contact us to discuss.
Please note that while we do offer repairs for our own pieces, we are unable to provide general repair services for any jewellery other than our own.
Why does my piece look a little different to the photo?
Some pieces of jewellery may not look exactly like the photograph, as each is individually handmade and availability of some components can vary. However every effort is made to ensure the same effect, regardless of materials.
The natural gemstones we use have an 'organic' look and often have visible pits, marks and incipient fracture planes. This is part of the look and are not flaws in the making. No two pieces are ever entirely alike.
