The Beech Orange (cyttaria gunnii) is a remarkable edible fungus which grows on Tasmania's Myrtle Beech trees.  It forms eyecatching moments of clour and form in the deep green of the forests.  The covering membrane bursts when ripe, uncovering the geodesic-like structures below.
