A few months ago our dear friend Barry Skipsey, a singer/songwriter extraordinaire and exceptional outback photographer stayed with us for a few days and decided that what we do was worthy of a short video.

In the wonderful world of gemstones, most are divided along the lines of Precious and Semi-Precious stones.  But what does this mean and how can you tell the difference?

Diamonds, Sapphires, Rubies and Emeralds are the precious stones, but why? What makes them different from the semi-precious stones?

The annual Tasmanian Craft Fair was once again, from our point of view, a roaring success.  Deloraine is a delightful town on the banks of the Meander River, just about 30 minutes drive south-east of Devonport, which hosts the Tasmanian Craft Fair. If ever there's a must-go-to craft fair, this is it!

They say what goes up must come down. It certainly does! Walking, climbing, scrambling to spectacular scenery and pools to swim in.
